Seems like many of us have hit that not-so-magical point in the semester when many of our new-start ambitions have begun to fade. Every semester about this time, I start slacking off and re-discovering my antipathy for studying.

SO!

1) I thought it might be "fun" and maybe "helpful" if we started making weekly goals. Of course this is completely optional, and the goals would be individual. But that way, we could each pick something, and post it in a weekly-goal post, and at the end of the week, come back and talk about how we did. Accountability, or even just getting to tell someone "hell yeah, I had this goal and I DID it!" really helps me. Also, since for the most part we don't know each other, we can choose tiny goals that we might be embarrassed to admit were goals to people we do know. goals could really be anything about any aspect of your life, not just school.

2) I'm thinking we should make a giant "study skills/focus aids" post and put it in memories, and then keep adding to it, since half of us can't focus for shit, myself included.

what do you think?

Ehh...I guess I'll start

My goal is to review anatomy and assessment for 10 minutes everyday.

I'm taking a semester off to save money/review but my current job is not desirable and I work in the evenings so I've been sleeping during the day and working at night.

Either while I'm at work some unknown thief steals time from my day and while I'm sleeping more precious time is stolen from my night.

I have not filed a police report but studying has been difficult.

So I'm making my goal very easy. 10 minutes a day.

Another goal I want to make is giving up soda. Maybe after I finish the 7 UP at home.

Yes! I'd help with that. Good ideas.

My goals:
- Finish my college application essays, for the love of God.
- Wake up at 4 AM every day and do something productive in the time between then and going to school.
- Actually do my homework please.
- Stop drinking (for now: so often, eventually: completely).
- Spend less time online.

Goals

Sounds GREAT!

(1) Spend at least 40 minutes a day on Psy and History. This is the very least I should be spending on homework a week!

(2) Start using my timer at work to stay focused on task at hand.

** I use a timer to accomplish all my tasks, usually
I use it for homework and house cleaning. But since
I'm so behind at work I need to alternate 30 minutes
between each task so at the end of the week I've spent
time working on all ie orders, emails, filling, research!

(3) Workout at least 3 days this week!

Simple goal: Do my pilates routine every morning like I used to.

MY GOALS

- concentrate more on my studies
- stop procrastinating
- be actively listening when studying or taking notes
- spend less time on the Internet (not working!)
- be more disciplined about my sleeping schedule (I have not been getting the 6-8 hours)
